My Travel Experiences

"Experience is the best teacher," as the saying goes. I had my shares of travels in our beautiful country. I may not visit and take scenic shots of the 7,107 islands but I had visited a few. To far north and down to south. Most of my travels were just trips with my friends and relatives. Visiting family reunions, birthdays or just plain trips.

The smell of the brewed coffee beans of Batangas was enticing. I could not resist to have a cup of it. It was better than to have a gulp at Starbucks or Coffee bean. And I think it can compete with them if given enough funding from both private and government. I had stayed to my grandmother's old Spanish-style house and slept on a native "papag". It was really fun having slumber parties with my cousins whom I had never seen for quite sometime. We were like kids then. I had tasted the best beef of Batangas at my lunches and dinners which were perfectly cooked by no less than my grandmother. Fresh fruits and vegetables were best too.
My trip to Zambales was memorable. Here I had my friends strolling around the woods and had swum on the clear water of the river. We swum restlessly and dove even to the deepest part of the river without something on. It was really one heck of fun.
What is a party without alcohol?. We drunk as if there was no tomorrow. We even set a bone fire after sun set. Dancing and drinking all night long with my closest friends. I woke up besides the acacia tree scratching my arms with red ants. Then everybody ended up scratching their skin. We had slept near the ants' colony. Laughs all around the place echoed. After that we cleaned our mess. We didn't want to leave the place with our trash so we did our share of "love-the-environment" environmentalists thing. It was a good feeling of protecting our environment.
The most recent trip I had so far was our trip to Puerto Galera  with my classmates at UCC and of course with my professors. I had the first experience of traveling the sea by a "Ro-Ro" ship with our bus in it. I saw a group of dolphins swimming the clear water as if they were racing us. Viewing the rest of the trip at the deck was fun though at first I had "sea-sick" feeling. We stayed at Nirvana hotel with so accommodating staff. We had three days and two nights of fun so memorable because of the prepared program for us. The banana boat was exciting and fun. I never thought it was until I was on it. The food was great too. A buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner which I ended up in the comfort room. I had ate so much that I ended up in that room. Luckily for me I found one comfortable "place". We had parlor games, sight seeings, picture takings, swimmings and orientation on how Tourism works. We were being oriented on the importance of tourism to our country and how it can attract foreigners to visit our country. As a tourism student, one must be adept on the different tourist spots of the country and be familiarized on the historical and geographical location of them.We were sad when they announced to pack our things and be ready for the trip going back to Manila. It was really a memorable and educational trip.
And now, we are looking forward to our next trip which is due next year. A Bohol-Cebu trips sound fun  and exciting. A plane trip for the first time should be fun for me. And to my future trips....hope i will travel not only the Philippines but the rest of the world.

MORE ABOUT ME..!!!

Hi!, I'm Juniko J. Bacani. Most of my friends call me Niko for short. I'm turning 20 this coming December 2, 2010 and I am too excited to celebrate my birthday with my family, relatives and some old and new friends. I am presently residing at 19 Dizon St., Bisig ng Kabataan, Kalookan City, with my parents and my sister Janika.

I am studying at University of Caloocan City taking up Bachelor of Science in Tourism. I want to travel not only our own country but the whole world as well. I know there are lots of oppurtunity waiting for me if I will finish my studies. It is not by dreaming alone but I have to commit myself in studying hard. Presently, I am the class president of BST 1A and the tallest and handsomest guy in the class.
I like to play basketball and often visit the gym for workouts. Having a healthy lifestyle is also important to me so I dont usually drink and smoke. I like to go out with friends too but most of the time I indulge myself in watching cartoons like Monkey D. Luffy, Makunochi, Ippo, Baki and Hanamichi Sakuragi. On the serious side of me, I also watch fantasy and horror series like Moonlight, The Legend of the Seeker, Smallville, Terminator:The Sarah Connor Chronicles, Anarchy and the most recent is Spartacus: Blood and Sand.
I experience a lot of adventure but the most memorable adventure is the amazing race at puerto galera. All tourism student in U.C.C join the race it's very fun a lot of games and task we do when we are playing in the game.

My dislike is selfish person i  hate it so much. My like's is understanding trust full and loyal person. My bad experience in life is when somebody throw a big bottle over my head and it was a bloody moment i don't know what i should do i go to the nearest hospital in all by myself because no one want's to involve in that time.
